Brewer Community School

From Mrs. Bryant's Second Grade Class: As part of our learning about Australia we have been discussing the wildfires that have been happening and the devastation the fires have created for so many who live there. The students have demonstrated such compassion for the people and animals, especially the koalas, who have been so deeply affected by the fires. The children wanted to take action so they wrote thank you notes to the firefighters and doctors who have been working tirelessly to try to save so many lives. Our class also adopted a koala to provide medical care to it after it was burned in the fire. The children were thrilled to do their part to help the world!
