All after school activities are cancelled today, Monday, November 18 for Brewer Schools due to the forecast predicting slippery conditions this afternoon.
The Brewer School Department is deeply shocked and saddened to learn that one of our high school seniors, Jordan Parkhurst, died in a car crash on Saturday evening. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jordan’s family and friends during this most difficult time. Jordan made our school community a better place. Brewer High School has activated a crisis response team and will have counselors and supports in place for all students and staff members when return to school on Monday morning, November 18. We would like to thank Brewer Public Safety for working with the Brewer School Department I’m dealing with this tragedy.

A reminder that in just under two weeks, on Friday, October 11, there will be an in-service day for Brewer Schools. While staff will be working, students will not be in attendance on that day.
Fall Sports Physical Exams All Brewer students needing physicals for fall sports can go to our Brewer High School Wellness Clinic August 8th from 5-7pm. For $47 PCHC staff will be there to administer the physical and will take checks/cash or bill for later payment. Reminder: Tuesday, April 9th is testing day! All regular classes have been cancelled. All Freshmen, Sophomores & Juniors are to bring a pencil and calculator. Seniors will have an abbreviated schedule. Students may be dismissed, with parent permission, once testing is over.

The Brewer High School Quiz Show Team competed against Falmouth High School at the Maine Public Television studio in Lewiston today. They represented Brewer High School well. Please congratulate Andrew Gillette, Lauren Richardson, Lana Sabbagh, and Ryan Young for a rigorous and cliff hanging performance. Great work team!
