Dear Brewer School Department Families and Staff,
The schools will be closed tomorrow due to the most recent National Weather Service forecast for Friday, January 7, 2022 that includes six to eight inches of snow and blowing winds throughout the day across the greater Brewer/Bangor region.
Rather than force families to wait until early morning to make plans, I'm making the call tonight because of the degree of confidence that this storm will arrive early in the morning. At the end of the day, I don't want to risk anyone's safety based on this forecast that is only a few hours out from the storm itself.
Friday will be a cancellation and not a remote learning day.
Be safe, and we will be back in session on Monday, January 10, 2022.
